By accessing and using the Glowforge Pro website (glowforgepro.com) and purchasing our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Glowforge Pro designs, manufactures, and sells desktop laser cutting and engraving equipment, Proofgrade materials, accessories, replacement parts, and cloud-based control software. Product specifications, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy in product descriptions and specifications (including laser power, bed dimensions, and material compatibility), we do not warrant that all product descriptions or other content on the site are error-free.
The Glowforge Pro requires an active internet connection to access our cloud-based control software for standard operation. We provide this software service at no additional charge to machine owners. We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve the software at any time. While we maintain a local fallback mode for basic operations, certain features including auto-material detection, path optimization, and design conversion require cloud connectivity.
All orders placed through our website or sales team are subject to acceptance by Glowforge Pro. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity. Payment is required in full before shipment unless credit terms have been established in writing. Institutional purchase orders are accepted from qualified educational and government entities.
Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Glowforge Pro is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or events outside our reasonable control. Domestic orders typically ship within 3-5 business days of payment confirmation. International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and additional inspection which are the responsibility of the buyer. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
Glowforge Pro machines are covered by a manufacturer's warranty as specified in the documentation included with each product. The machine chassis, electronics, and motion system carry a 12-month warranty from date of delivery. The CO2 laser tube, as a consumable component, carries a separate 6-month warranty. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from: use of non-approved materials, operation outside specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity), unauthorized modification, failure to maintain the machine per the maintenance guide, or damage during customer-arranged transport.
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. Products must be returned in original packaging, in resalable condition, with all included accessories. A 15% restocking fee applies to returns that are not due to a manufacturing defect. Proofgrade materials are non-returnable once the packaging seal has been broken. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glowforge Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of our products, software, or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. Laser equipment can cause eye injury, burns, and fire if operated improperly. Users are responsible for following all safety guidelines provided with the equipment and maintaining the Class 1 safety enclosure integrity during operation.
